The Palestine Before Project
Preserving Palestinian history through inter-generational conversations and collective memory
Preservation & Community
Our Mission
As Palestinians, each of us carries a story – a narrative rich in history, culture, and memories. Our families have witnessed the perseverance, resilience, and resistance of our communities through the Nakba, two intifadas, and the daily oppression and violence of the Israeli occupation. Our ancestral stories are treasures that deserve to be preserved and passed down. This is where our journey begins, with you as a vital participant in weaving the tapestry of our collective memory.
We aim to capture and preserve the personal histories and narratives of our families through intergenerational conversations, creating a living archive that echoes the voices of the ongoing Nakba and beyond to ensure Palestinian voices are not erased, silenced, or forgotten.
Preserved Stories and Evidence Every shared story fuels the conservation of the Palestinian narrative.
Living Archive Join a central hub of voices uniting the enduring spirit of Palestine's past and present.
